If you're planning
a garden in southcentral Alaska and looking for hardy plants,
these are worth considering. They're definitely the survivors.
Many were moved to this location the spring of 1999 so have survived
a winter. Winters here typically have periods of temperatures
below zero, plenty of wind with chill factors well below zero,
and often not much snow cover. Will update the survivor stat's
when I see who comes up in 2001!
