I love seeing the pictures of Ellensburg. I grew up in Stevenson WA and lived in Yakima WA. I have great memories of floating the Ellensburg River in summer. I live in Az now and the beautiul pictures of Ellensburg area make me homesick! It really is a nice peaceful and lovely place. My dad, Glen Persinger, owned the bakery in town in those years, and he and my mom, Marian, were active in the Masons and the Eastern Star. We were members of the little United Protestant Church.
